A drama examining the life of Pascual (José Luis Gómez - who won Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival) who, in a psychopathic frenzy, kills his dog, his horse, his mother, and local citizens, before being captured by soldiers and executed. The story is based on the acclaimed book La Familia de Pascual Duarte by Nobel Prize-winning author Camilio Jose Cela.
